On to completion.

Keeping my left foot busy

Test fitting the dash

Right side net. Custom set-up with solid quick release an no ratchet

Left side containment net mount. Adjustable so I can see mirrors

Fire bottle routed

Kill switch and fire handle

Next up Rod Bearings. My last Blackstone oil report showed high levels of tin and copper so I knew that the engine was likely in need of some help.

Bearings out

No1 not so great

No 6 also not good

Replaced with Epic Bearings and ARP studs

Unfortunately one of the engine mounts was torn so new mounts for the engine and transmission from Bimmerworld

Unfortunately, when the oil pan came down we found that the mesh on the pump was coming apart. It sounds like this is starting to be an issue for cars prior to 2005. Bad news is that you can replace just the mesh, new pump going in.

While waiting for the pump Vulcan cleaned up the bottom of the motor and the car.

Since I have an open trailer I decided to do lexan for the door glass and make it removable. Vulcan suggested using these latches. The are used on airplanes and sprint cars.

This has morphed from side windows to a few other spots
